We believe in data minimization. We collect only what is necessary to operate, synchronize, and protect the integrity of the game:

A. Information You Provide

• Account Profile: Player display handle or commander alias.
• Account Sign-In (optional): If you create an account, the username and password you choose. Passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes, and your recovery code and sign-in sessions only as one-way hashes, so we cannot read them. We do not ask for an email address.
• Customer Support Inquiries: Any email address, message contents, or bug reports you voluntarily transmit to our support channels.
• Card & Marketplace Transactions: Records of virtual card listings, in-game Aether Shard exchanges, and digital booster pack pulls.

B. Automated Gameplay & Device Information

• Gameplay State: Active squad line-up, card vault inventory, fusion logs, match win/loss history, and ELO ratings.
• Technical & Telemetry Data: Browser version, operating system, device screen resolution, preferred audio volume, network latency, and connection timestamps.
• Security & Anti-Cheat Logs: Combat turn verification telemetry, combat action logs, and rate-limiting metrics to detect and prevent unauthorized botting or state tampering.

C. Payment Information

If you purchase optional digital Aether Shard bundles or digital booster packs, transactions are processed securely through certified third-party payment gateways. TheMarketBug LLC does not collect, receive, or store your credit card or financial account numbers on our servers. We receive only confirmation tokens, transaction IDs, and order completion receipts.

3. Cookies & Local Browser Storage

Aevendorn uses modern client-side storage technologies (such as localStorage, sessionStorage, and cache storage) rather than intrusive advertising tracking cookies:

• Essential Game Storage: Storing your active 3-creature squad, muted audio preferences, cached card artwork portraits, and offline-ready asset caches.
• Authentication Tokens: Maintaining your active session credentials so your collection remains accessible when returning to the game.
• First-Party Usage Statistics: A random visitor ID stored in localStorage lets us count visits, pages viewed, device type, browser, language, and referring site on our own servers. Network addresses are only kept as one-way salted hashes for counting. Nothing is shared with third parties.

We do not sell your personal data or partner with cross-site third-party advertising tracking networks.

4. How We Use Your Information

TheMarketBug LLC utilizes collected information exclusively for the following operational purposes:

• Delivering, synchronizing, and maintaining real-time 3v3 battle matchmaking and card inventory state.
• Processing Bloodline Fusion mechanics, booster pack openings, and player marketplace exchanges.
• Preventing exploits, bot networks, illegal client injection, and preserving fair play across competitive queues.
• Diagnosing server latency, performance bottlenecks, and visual rendering errors across devices.
• Complying with applicable legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
